From 1970 to 1972 the herd was changed to all registered and the leased farm was purchased.

In 1974 the small farm was sold and a larger dairy in Hubbardsville, NY was purchased.  The herd was increased to 450 milking age animals with 450 heifers.

In 1984 the present location in Fort Collins was purchased and a new dairy was constructed on the site in early 1985.  1000 head of registered Holsteins were moved from New York to Colorado.

Today, Dyecrest Dairy LLC consists of 1,603 milking age animals, milked 3 times a day with a rolling herd average on DHIA of 30,117 pounds milk, 1108 fat and 925 protein plus 1400 heifers.  Dyecrest is consistently one of the highest producing herds in Colorado despite never using BST.

Dyecrest Dairy has now been on official test for over 42 years and has been classified in every program for over 42 years.  Dyecrest is one of the largest all registered herds in the country.
