Reproduction

 Since Dyecrest is a 100% registered herd; genetics are extra important and all animals are bred A. I.  For over 38 years we have used the best genetics available.  Our main selection criteria has been for pounds of protein, net merit $ and productive life. The only time we do embryo transfer is when we have A. I contracts on a cow.  We have ten cows presently being flushed to fill A. I contracts.  Our own virgin heifers are used for recipients.  (click on photos to enlarge)
